Day 3 Kahekili Beach
We got a decent little window of somewhat clear water today so we headed to Kahekili. It was already getting stirred up by the time we got out. Sounds like the south swell is kicking up more so we may not get any real good water this trip. Keeping our fingers crossed.

Hawaiian Bigeye. A first for me.

 Bright-eye Damselfish

A cool arch I ran across.

Some Goatfish grazing on their underwater pasture.

Male Belted wrasse

Multiband Butterflyfish

A very bright yellow Cigar Wrasse.  Poor guy had a fishing lure stuck in his lip.

Longnose Butterfly

Couple Yellow Tangs hanging out with Gill.

Found several of the Fantail Filefish I really wanted to see this trip.

This little guy was having fun playing Peek-a-boo with us. It finally came out and gave me a great pose. Isn't it cute?

Here is some more of my wife's shots from this morning.

Pincushion urchin

The Peek-a-boo Tako she found.

As special message to a special young man we know.
